Welcome to Animal Rescue Rhode Island.

Weave your way inland from the lighthouse-studded coast, passing clapboard Colonials and historic farmsteads, and you will find a haven for homeless cats and dogs. Known locally as ARRI, Animal Rescue Rhode Island is a non-profit run entirely on donations from the big-hearted folks in America’s smallest state.

Established in 1938 in response to a devastating hurricane and large numbers of homeless animals on the streets, ARRI became a much-needed resource in the community. In 2015, ARRI unveiled a brand new 7,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility, allowing it to take its animal welfare mission to the next level. Over more than 80 years, ARRI has placed thousands of pets in loving homes, including more than 600 in 2020 alone.

ARRI goes to any lengths to nurture and revitalize the animals in its care, so that each furry friend can become a successfully adopted pet in a loving home. ARRI also supports pets in the community through education programs that empower pet owners to take excellent care of their own companion animals.

It is innovative partnerships like this one with Hope & Co (and their inspired Dalmatian Jasper bracelets!) that help ARRI achieve its goal of becoming a role model rescue organization.
